Accessibility statement

Version dated 24 September 2026

This is a translation of the German text. The contract is concluded in German; you can read the German text here.

ITAA-System GmbH strives to make its online shop at itaa-system.de accessible in line with the German Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG). This statement describes how the shop meets the requirements, where it does not yet meet them, and whom you can contact.

Which requirements apply

The decisive texts are the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the associated ordinance (BFSGV). Technically, we follow the harmonised standard EN 301 549 and thus the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

What the shop offers

In the shop we sell horse solariums, which we build in Emmerich am Rhein, as well as accessories and spare parts. You can find out about the units, put together a unit in your version, add it to the basket and order it with an obligation to pay. There is also a customer account, a contact form, a service form for questions about your unit and an enquiry for hire purchase.

How an order works

  1. You add a unit or accessories to the basket. For a unit you first choose the version; the price and configuration key are shown as text next to the selection.
  2. At the checkout you enter your address, a telephone number for the freight carrier and instructions for access, and choose the payment method.
  3. Before the “Order with obligation to pay” button you see all items, the shipping costs and the total.
  4. After you submit the order, you are forwarded to PayPal or Klarna for payment.
  5. You receive a confirmation by e-mail, with our terms and conditions and the withdrawal instructions attached.

If you need help with this, call us: you reach the workshop directly on +49 2822 68204. We also take your order by telephone or by e-mail.

How we meet the requirements

  • The language of each page is marked up (English), so that screen reader software pronounces it correctly.
  • Every page begins with a “Skip to content” link that skips the navigation.
  • Pages are structured with headings, including the legal texts.
  • Controls are ordinary links, buttons and form fields and can be reached with the keyboard. The element with keyboard focus is visibly highlighted, and this highlighting also meets the contrast requirements.
  • Text and background meet the contrast requirements of level AA.
  • The basket opens as a dialogue. While it is open, keyboard focus stays inside it; you close it with the Escape key, and focus returns to the basket button.
  • Anything that changes without a page change is announced to screen reader software: an item in the basket, the price in the configurator, the total at the checkout, the results of the height and payback calculators.
  • The ticker with customer comments can be paused and paged through by hand.
  • The steam in the header image on the home page and the three-dimensional views can be stopped with the “Pause motion” button, which appears at each of these places. The choice applies to all of them at once and is saved in your browser.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and fields for personal details can be filled in automatically. Errors on submitting are stated as text above the form.
  • Forms do not require you to solve an image puzzle. Google reCAPTCHA v3 protects against automated submission; it checks in the background without a task and is loaded only after your consent.
  • The three-dimensional views of the units are illustrations. All the information they show is also available as text on the page; the views are hidden from screen reader software.
  • If “Reduce motion” is set in your operating system, the site dispenses with animations and automatically running content.
  • Photos have text alternatives. The video of a customer has German subtitles.
  • The shop does not load content from third-party servers; fonts and scripts are hosted by us. The only exception is reCAPTCHA on pages with a form, after your consent.

Known limitations

  • The basket and the configurator need JavaScript. If it is switched off, we will gladly take your order by telephone or by e-mail.
  • The terms and conditions and the withdrawal instructions that are attached to the confirmation e-mail as a PDF are not marked up for screen reader software. You will find the same content in an accessible form on the “Terms and conditions” and “Right of withdrawal” pages in the shop.
  • The enquiry forms (contact, service, hire purchase, review) can only be submitted if you have consented to reCAPTCHA and your browser can reach Google. Without that, we will gladly take your enquiry by telephone or by e-mail. Ordering and the customer account also work without it.
  • The payment pages of PayPal and Klarna are operated by these providers; their accessibility is not in our hands.
  • Error messages in forms are collected above the form and name the field, but are not linked to the field itself.
  • A session expires after 120 minutes without activity. A form that has been open for longer then has to be submitted again; your entries are not kept in that case.

How this statement came about

It is based on a self-assessment against WCAG 2.1, level AA, of 24 September 2026: review of the source code, measurement of colour contrasts and spot checks in the browser. A test with screen reader software is still outstanding; we will add its results here.

Reporting barriers

If you come across a barrier or need content in a different form, write to us or call us. We will reply and fix what we can fix.
